Art by Naureen
I am drawn to oil painting because it allows me to slow down and listen. The medium holds time in a way that feels almost sacred, giving space for thoughts and feelings to settle before they take form. I am inspired by philosophy, nature, and everyday life — by small moments of light, silence, and emotion that often go unnoticed. My paintings grow from observation and reflection, inviting stillness rather than spectacle.

Oil paint feels alive to me. It moves, blends, and responds, offering depth and second chances. Layers can be changed, softened, or left unfinished, much like life itself. I work with intention, but I also allow the painting to guide me. There is a quiet exchange between control and trust, and it is within this space that my work takes shape.

Alongside art, I work with numbers in accounting — a world of structure, balance, and clarity. This is not separate from my creative life. Numbers ground me and give me order; painting brings fluidity and release. Together, they create harmony between the practical and the intuitive. Through my work, I hope to offer a gentle pause — a moment to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with the quiet beauty woven into everyday experience.
